History
Finger Lakes Health College of Nursing & Health Sciences, private not for profit academic institution, was established in 2008 by a small group of nurses who shared the same vision and dedication to meeting the healthcare needs of the rural community of the Finger Lakes Region as the parent organization, Finger Lakes Health. Recognizing a need for Registered Nurse preparation in the region, the College of Nursing & Health Sciences collaborated with Geneva General Hospital to establish an Associate in Applied Science Degree program with a Major in Nursing. This new Degree program continued the tradition and commitment the hospital has demonstrated for over fifty years in an ever-changing healthcare environment in nursing education. Today, our Nursing Program is well known in the Community and Region for producing competent and well prepared graduates.
