FLHCON offers a flexible program that is beneficial to students who have a job and family yet want to continue their career to become a Registered Nurse. Students have the option for morning or evening class and Saturday course/clinical offerings. Please review entire page and Additional Requirements**
- Apply online on the FLHCON.edu website beginning November 1st
- Pay the $50.00 Application fee online when you apply to the program
- The application deadline is February 1st for the upcoming fall admission period

- Decision letters are sent the 1st week of March
- Classes begin the last week of August
Traditional Program Application Requirements: **Read Below for Additional Requirements and Process to Apply**
- A copy of your official high school diploma or GED transcript
- A transcript of a completed College Level Chemistry Course with Lab component or equivalent transfer credit with a ‘C’ or higher within the past 5 years of the application date (grades below a ‘C’ are not accepted). We don not accept Nursing ABC Chemistry because we require a College Credit Bearing Class. For applicants who need a Chemistry this course is offered online through Portage Learning (Chem 121: Foundations of General Chemistry w/ Lab). Portage/Geneva College is an accredited program where your College Credit for taking coursework will transfer to other College. Go to http://portagelearning.com/courses/chemistry
- A transcript of a completed Anatomy & Physiology I (A&P I) with a ‘C’ or higher within the past 5 years of the application date (grades below a ‘C’ are not accepted). A&P I has to be completed by February 1st or your application will not be qualified for Ranking into the program.
Second Semester Program Application Requirements LPN to RN Program:
This option is available to applicants who are currently LPN’s or to applicants who have completed their Nursing Fundamentals in another RN program with a ‘C+’ or higher within the past 2 years of the application date (grades below a ‘C+’ are not accepted)

- Pay the $50.00 Application fee online when you apply to the program
- The application deadline is September 1st for the Second Semester admission period

- A copy of a valid NYS LPN License at the time of application or a transcript of completion in Nursing Fundamentals with a ‘C+’ or higher within the past 2 years of the application date (grades below a ‘C+’ are not accepted)

- A transcript of a completed College Level Chemistry Course with Lab component or equivalent transfer credit with a ‘C’ or higher within the past 5 years of the application date (grades below a ‘C’ are not accepted). **PROCESS TO APPLY FOR ALL ENTRY OPTIONS**:
- Apply online on the FLHCON.edu website: http://www.flhcon.edu. Pay the $50.00 Application fee required to apply to the program
- Acknowledgment of receipt of your online application and application fee will be sent from the school by email to the email address noted on your application. Occasionally the receipt email may go into your SPAM email folder. Please check that folder as well for receipt.
- Meet all application requirements. We need a copy of all of the College Transcripts of the coursework taken at other colleges received by the deadline published on the FLHCON.edu website.
- **Additional College Coursework Requirements: All applicants are evaluated for required General Education/Liberal Arts coursework taken at other colleges and then ranked based on admission points they have when they apply to our program. The points are assigned by specific criteria, general education/liberal arts coursework, and final grades earned. Coursework grades below a ‘C‘ are not accepted.
- Chemistry is required in order to qualify your application. The required Chemistry needs to taken at a College Level and has College Level Credits unless you are a High School Applicant. We do not accept Nursing ABC Online Chemistry as this is not college credit bearing and non transferable to other institutions.
- A completed Anatomy & Physiology I (A & P I) with a ‘C’ or higher within the past 5 years of the application date (grades below a ‘C’ are not accepted). A&P I has to be completed by application deadline date or your application will not be qualified for Ranking into the program.

- Note: Acceptance is based on ranking points and seat availability.
Admission will be offered to qualified applicants with the highest number of admission points applied from the Ranking Sheet. High School Students are encouraged to apply and review the requirements and the Ranking Sheet for High School Students on our website
Those applicants who do not receive an offer of acceptance are encouraged to contact the school to discuss an academic plan for future application consideration
